HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Provide support to the ESH Manager with the implementation of hazard and management processes of the siteJoin a dynamic team while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of the Environmental, Health and Safety programsLearn about the fundamentals of Environmental Health and Safety requirements, as well as gain knowledge of and interact with other business professionals throughout the internshipConduct and assist Risk Assessment of tasks for site personnel (PPE, Spot Check Walkdowns, Hazards of Equipment, Routine/Non-Routine tasks)Create and perform awareness activities for site personnel that will engage personnel in a ESH Culture. Update the Hazardous Substances Program (ChemTrec, SDS updates, SOC, SVHC)Enforce site and regulatory ESH policiesSupport the Waste Reduction Project and Recycling programSupport ISO 14001 & 45001 Management Systems ProgramsTHE ENVIRONMENT

Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student in a U.S. accredited college, university or technical college, with a minimum GPA of 2.8. Pursuing a degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or related field (e.g., Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, etc.)High/Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.Strong/Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.Strong/Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
