The role is responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, tracking, and facilitating Senior Leadership decision-making with enterprise-wide asset data. The Analyst will also administer assigned compliance programs and lead cross functional teams in coordinated action to meet applicable compliance requirements. This position reports directly to a manager or Senior Manager of Environmental Services. ***** REMOTE work from HOME***** **Prefer West Coast Candidates** **Essential Functions** + Collect, validate, analyze, and track enterprise wide fleet and facility data required to comply with local, state, regional and federal regulations + Prepare and submit required internal and external environmental reports, and retain records required to demonstrate compliance in accordance with Ryder policy and regulatory agency recordkeeping requirements + Administer assigned compliance programs and lead cross functional teams to execute actions required to meet applicable compliance requirements + Monitor fleet and/or facility asset changes that influence compliance and regularly report compliance status, trends, risk, potential financial impact, and recommended actions to direct supervisor and others, as required + Review and follow-up on regulatory violations to ensure all corrective actions completed, review violation findings & notes for completeness + Build strong business partner alliances among internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the Company complies with environmental laws and policies **Additional Responsibilities** + Performs other duties as assigned. **Skills and Abilities** + Strong written and oral communication & research skills, Required + Ability to influence cross-functional teams throughout varying chains of command, Required + Ability to work independently in a fast paced, pressured environment, Required + Strong presentation and analytical skills focused on managing assets (all aspects), Required + Strong customer focus with ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization, Required + Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills, Required + Ability to deal with ambiguity, Required + Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices, Required **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in with course work in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or environmental OR equivalent work experience, Required + Two (2) years to Four (4) years or more in related work experience in equipment rental, operations, sales, environmental, asset management or other transportation and logistics functions., Required \#LI-AW **Job Category:** Environmental Health and Safety **Compensation Information** : The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
