The role:
Are you passionate about sustainability and environmental management? Fugro UK is looking for dedicated expert Environmental and System Advisor to help us reach our ambitious Net-Zero 2035 Objective. As part of our team, you will provide crucial advice to operations and management, ensuring we stay on the cutting edge of environmental practices.
You will assist project managers in completing and maintaining project documentation, while also managing and analysing environmental data to produce regular performance reports. Your leadership will shine as you manage the Fugro UK Sustainability Forum, driving our sustainability initiatives forward. Conducting internal audits will be a key part of your role, ensuring we continuously improve and comply with regulations. You will assist in drafting project execution plans, waste plans, and environmental management plans.
As a leader in sustainability, you will produce monthly environmental performance statements and quarterly reports, collate and report regional sustainability data, and compile the annual UK carbon report for internal and regulatory reporting. You will perform audits across the business and on-site activities, and actively participate in the Sustainability Forum and Committee meetings. Keeping our environmental regulatory register up-to-date and providing monthly updates on regulatory changes and offering expert advice on waste, energy, and environmental regulations to the business will also be part of your role.

Who we’re looking for:
Degree in Environmental Science or Sustainability.Auditor qualification.Broad knowledge and experience of quality assurance methods.Experience in managing environmental data essential.Experience in the management of environmental matters arising from operations.Experience in environmental planning and reporting.Demonstrable competence for auditing.Demonstrable experience in document creation, formatting and version control.Good command of the English language both written and spoken.Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.What we’ll offer you:
