SUMMARY

Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the implementation of environmental / sustainability programs, supporting data collection, monitoring and validation of applicable environmental performance data, and supporting key engagement activities.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Collection, Monitoring, and Validation     

Lead the management of data collection, monitoring, and validation of applicable environmental performance data from key suppliers to support client corporate reporting requirements.  Support the development of MSA deliverables and reports. Execute simple analysis and provide recommendations on reporting. 

Communication / Training    

Support development of environmental/sustainability engagement activities including ‘green’ events and the expansion of client ‘green teams’. Support development of environmental compliance and sustainability training.  Program Development Support     Support development and implementation of client sustainability initiatives/objectives and assist on strategic vision.  Support development of the BGIS Annual Environmental Plan.  Support development of materials for the client's operational governance.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Completion of post-secondary training in related areas. (Less than 2 years of experience in reports and performance indicators) Advanced skills in MS Excel. Strong MS Word skills.      Strong communication and interpersonal skills.      Strong administrative skills including documentation standards and project management.      Strong time management skills.     

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

Environmental Professional (EP) or Environnemental Professional in Training (EPt) is an asset
