Compensation: $55-61.50/hourLocation: Houston, TXAssignment Duration: 6 months+Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours + / hybrid schedule working 3 days in office

Responsibilities Environmental Professional generates inventories of Greenhouse Gas, Criteria Pollutant and Hazardous Air Pollutant emissions for the purpose of reporting to government agencies or other stakeholders. The Professional may be asked to produce inventories of vented and flared volumes for reporting to oil & gas regulatory agencies. The Professional should support continuous improvement in all aspects of emissions reporting, including cost, accuracy, speed, and reducing the burden of data validation processes on OperationsCollect, QA, and enter data for calculating Greenhouse Gas, Criteria Pollutant and Hazardous Air Pollutant emissions, produce analyses of emissions inventory results, and support inventories of vented and flared volumes for reporting to oil & gas regulatory agencies.Prepare and submit e-GGRT Report annually and respond to agency follow-up timely and accuratelyAdhere to data collection, calculation and QA/QC procedures as well as company standards and regulatory requirementsIdentify process improvements and implement them as appropriateSupport internal and external audit functionsMaintain constant communications with Permitting team, Business Units, and IT regarding input source dataEnsure state Emissions Inventories are completed accurately and submitted timelyPromote sustainable environmental practices within the company, including limiting air emissions, usage of freshwater, and impacts on sensitive species and habitatsOther activities as requested Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in relevant Environmental field or Engineering5+ years of air experienceAir emissions modeling experience (e.g. Symmetry, ProMax, or HYSYS)Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills, and PowerPoint with presentation experienceProject management skills with minimal oversight requiredAbility to communicate with operations, management, and executivesDetail-orientedExperience in organizing, analyzing, and drawing conclusions based on complex data sets
