We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and detail-orientated individual to assist with ongoing environmental regulatory compliance programs covering multi-facility manufacturing operations. Will work within the PCC Division Environmental Affairs (EA) Department to develop and implement environmental programs, policies, and procedures with a focus on air and water quality.  Ideal candidates will develop innovative design solutions for highly complex industrial facilities, position requires creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Work with the EA department staff to ensure existing environmental compliance programs (manuals, plans, etc.) are-up to date. Assist with EA program standardization across all PCC facilities, where applicable.Assist in developing and communicating internal and external environmental policies and programs to all departments.Provide technical support, advice, and troubleshooting for environmental regulations (air, water, waste, etc.).Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements.Conduct or coordinate sampling, monitoring, and inspections as required by permit and/or regulations.Perform environmental monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting related to environmental management systems and permits.Assist with timely submission and/or review of all required environmental reports and documentation. This includes, but is not limited to: Monthly Wastewater Reports, Notices of Intent to Operate, Stormwater Reports, Stormwater and Wastewater Permit Renewal applications, Discharge Monitoring Reports, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) plans, SPCC plans, Monthly Air Permitting compliance, Non-Compliance/Upset reporting as needed, NESHAP reporting, etc.Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Management, or Geotechnical); or a related technical fieldKnowledge and practical application of environmental regulations.Ability to apply and adapt a wide variety of technical procedures under general directions and to complete work independently.Ability to work well with others; to collaborate with senior manufacturing engineers and provide guidance to non-technical colleagues.Ability to plan, schedule, evaluate and coordinate multiple tasks.Will be required to complete multiple environmental training courses including hazardous waste management training, stormwater training, SPCC training, etc.Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and Power Point with preferred knowledge of Visio. /*generated inline style */   All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. /*generated inline style */ This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
