Environmental Engineer/Compliance Specialist -- Atlanta GA

Based in Atlanta, GA, you’ll assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff to support projects through data collection and management, data review, development of technical reports, calculating emissions estimates, and so much more. Pave the way for your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow, and succeed - today and into tomorrow. * Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or closely related field. * At least 2 years’ experience in Environmental compliance and auditing. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. * EIT or ability to obtain within 2 year period. * United States Citizenship. Ideally, you’ll also have: * A previous internship related to your field of study * Previous client-facing experience * Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs and client organizations * Self-driven time management and organizational skills * Ability to obtain 40-hour Hazardous waste and emergency operations (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
