What you will be doing
Assist in the development of training matrices, training content, and training programs for EHS related topics to support the facility.Assist in the development and implementation of environmental, health and safety programs and policies. Assist with the execution of hazard assessments, ergonomic evaluations, personal protective equipment assessments, and incident response. Participate in EHS meetings and provide updates on progress towards goals.Assist with administration of web-based safety management system. Provide support to the EHS Manager and internal customers in various tasks related to EHS business needs.What We Are Looking For
Effective written and verbal communication skills.Competent skills in problem solving and trouble-shooting.Competent in the use of PCs, MS Office Programs and other associated software.Ability to effectively operate in a team environment.Effective time management skills.Solid knowledge of the English language with the ability to speak, read and write along with good listening skills.Good marks in relevant subjects.Possess high motivation, flexibility and ability to work on his/her own.Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations related to EHS.Education or Formal Training
Must be at least a sophomore in an accredited College or University program and have an acceptable grade point average. Relevant degree programs include Environmental Public Health, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, etc.
Experience Required
No experience required. Previous internship or other working experience, a plus.
