In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Lead the monthly Executive EHS Steering Committee meetings providing guidance and recommendations on critical initiatives.
• Provide safety and health expertise and leadership in the development and deployment of EHS practices including safety & health policies, tools standards and best practices
• Develop and execute site safety & health programs to ensure compliance with state, federal and corporate requirements
• Working cross functionally develop and implement initiatives to improve safety culture and overall operational integration of safety & health best practices.
• Participate in the Emerson Measurement Solutions Global Safety and Health Leadership Team
• Serve as a Critical Business Partner to departmental leaders to influence EHS focuses as key operation objectives
• Support in risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective action guidance
• Lead the site EHS Team providing leadership and direction along with development opportunities and foster professional growth for all team members
Who You Are:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and expertise in Environmental, Health, Safety laws and regulations.
• Ability to relate to all kinds of people and build relationships based on trust and credibility
• Effective in a variety of communication settings: one-on-one, small and large groups and among diverse styles and position levels
• Must be willing and able to collaborate and influence management in different groups such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities/Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, and Administrative
• Creates strategies that show a clear connection between visions and action
For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry or safety related science
• 7+ years of experience developing, implementing and maintaining Environmental, Health and Safety programs for subjects such as machinery, chemicals, noise, welding, manual material handling, hazardous waste, storm water, injury case management, etc. in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated communication, leadership and influencing skills
• Applied knowledge of federal, state and local environmental health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of relevant OSHA, FM Global, EPA, CDPHE, DOT, NFPA and ASME standards and practices
• Experience developing and conducting EHS training
• Familiarity with office and industrial ergonomics
• Team leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $113,734-134,413 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
