The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

Promote employee Safety, Regulatory Compliance (OSHA/EPA), Safety & Quality Trainings, Continuous Improvement/LEAN principles, Occupational Health and Workers’ Compensation policies.Ensure required documentation is accurate and meets customer and corporate environmental, health policies/guidelines and applicable federal, state, local laws safety laws, regulations.Supports all incident investigation reporting, data capture, observations from employee audits and required customer presentation.Support company implementation and adherence auditing to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standardization principles.Update and audit site facility Safety Work Instructions and Safety Alerts communicationsPerform walk-through of all facilities and ensure unsafe conditions and work practices are addressed, to include but not limited to:New process risk assessmentSMBWA - Safety Management By Walk AroundAssists team in occupational health and hygiene, workers compensation and return to work programs.Assists in management of required authorizations to perform tasks as defined by company, customer, OSHA or EPA to have current licensing and/or permits: HAZMAT/HAZCOM/DOT/HRT- emergency responders, motorized industrial truck programs, hazard communication, control of hazardous energy & confined space. 

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required1 year relevant experience in an Quality, EH&S or related field in a production or manufacturing environment.Fluency in MS OfficeExcellent communication, both oral and written, and interpersonal skillsAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers and customer representatives.Semiconductor industry manufacturing or production experience is a plus.Variable hours on the weekend may occur: because this position is involved with employee, building and environmental safety this position is on-call 24 hours a day 7 days a week.Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
