JR63919 Environmental Health Safety Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and meticulous EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Engineer to join our team. This individual will primarily be overseeing chemical management, implementing the Live Safe program, and organizing EHS awareness campaigns. You should have a strong background in EHS regulations and best practices, with a focus on safety leadership and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:  
Chemical Management:  

Develop and maintain chemical inventory systems.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding chemical storage, handling, and disposal.Conduct hazard assessments for chemical use and implement appropriate control measures.Act as chemical coordinator roles in reviewing and approval of chemical request. Provide training of chemical management and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 


Live Safe & EHS Awareness Program Management:  

 Lead and implement the Live Safe program, promoting a culture of proactive safety practices across the organization.Analyze Live Safe Survey trend to drive continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.Plan and implement EHS awareness events, safety campaigns, and Live Safe training sessions.Collaborate with different departments to engage employees in safety initiatives and increase awareness.Develop communication materials such as safety sharing slide, newsletters, and presentations to promote EHS initiatives.Monitor and assess the effectiveness of campaigns and events to continuously improve engagement.


Additional Responsibilities:  

Review the assigned hazardous materials related regulations and industry standards update.Perform incident and event follow-up and investigation, determine root cause(s), implement containment action, establish corrective action & preventative action, and verify effectiveness.Support in EHS- related audits to ensure operations align with procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s/Master's in Environmental Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing or chemical management is advantageousStrong understanding of chemical safety regulations, ISO45001, ISO14001 and OSHA standards.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to lead multi-functional teams and drive safety initiativesKeen in semiconductor industryHas leadership experiences
