Trinity Industries is searching for an Environment Health & Safety Intern at our Fort Worth, TX facility!

As an Environmental Health & Safety intern you will work on various projects related to EHS and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone focused on a career in Safety or Environmental Health & Safety.

What you'll do:

Conduct EHS time studies on confined spaces Revise and create Job Safety Analyses (JSA) Assist with cleaning rack robotic railcar cleaning and wastewater treatment projects Prepare for ISO 45001/14001 audits Participate in EHS compliance auditing Contribute to fall protection and confined space improvement projects

What you'll need:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Health & Safety Strong communication skills Highly motivated and eager to learn Curious and interested in working in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
