Position Summary

Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Facilities Management professional with 7+ years of experience in manufacturing environments. Skilled in compliance programs, hazardous waste management, Cal-OSHA IIPP, regulatory reporting, facilities operations, and safety training.

Core CompetenciesEnvironmental Management Systems (EMS/HSMS)Cal-OSHA Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)Hazardous Waste Management & Tiered PermittingRegulatory Reporting (EPA, CalEPA, DTSC, SCAQMD, Cal OSHA, LACSD, CDPH-RHB, LARWQCB, LACFD)Incident Investigation & Root Cause AnalysisErgonomic Assessments & Safety TrainingWastewater & Stormwater ComplianceSDS Management & Hazardous Materials ControlFacilities & Utilities Management (HVAC, Clean Rooms, Cryogenics)Preventive Maintenance PlanningResponsibilitiesProvide direction and technical support to department staff responsible for EMS/HSMS complianceDevelop and implement EMS/HSMS programs ensuring compliance with regulationsOrganize and update Cal-OSHA IIPP for proactive safety measures, including regular review of the following H&S programs:Work area inspection & ergonomic assessmentsJob Hazard AnalysisMachine GuardingLock out / Tag outConduct audits of hazardous waste, stormwater, wastewater, and air emissions programsManage 22+ EHS permits/licenses, renewals, postings, and compliance documentationSubmit regulatory reports to CalEPA, DTSC, SCAQMD, OSHA, and other agenciesCoordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsDirect safety training and verify competency through testingMaintain hazardous waste records, manifests, contingency plans, and SDS librarySupport wastewater treatment system and environmental operating proceduresDirect Facilities, Maintenance and Production programs for HVAC, clean rooms, lighting, compressed air systems, cryogenics, construction, plumbing, building interior & exterior and groundsManage preventive maintenance logs for production equipment, minimizing downtimeQualificationsMinimum seven (7) years related experience in Environmental, Health & Safety managementBachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering or Industrial EngineeringMust be a US personSkilled in mathematics and chemistry, with computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).Ability to partner with and effectively communicates to Teledyne Relays management and supervisory staffProcess driven with excellent interpersonal communication skills required.Experience in manufacturing environment preferredFamiliarity with ANSI Z136.1-2014 American National Standard for Safe Use of Lasers

  

Salary Range:

$96,200.00-$128,300.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
