The Environmental Health and Safety Representative is responsible for supporting production. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an automotive production environment, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:
Manage claims and represent The Company in Health & Safety matters with external organizations such as the MOE, MOL and WSIBAudit assets and machinery to ensure compliance with company safety for employees, visitors, and contractorRead and coach leadership to ensure the fulfillment of the EHS Roles & Responsibilities according to the RASCI roles matrix. (Responsibility, Accountability, Support, Consulted, Informed - RASCI)Conduct job site safety inspections, including hazard analysis and safe work procedure reviews and environmental assessmentsMinimum Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years working in the health and safety field in a manufacturing environmentExperience and proven ability to provide technical training in material handling, LOTO, Confined SpacePreferred Qualifications:
