CACI is seeking a Regional Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist responsible for building the safety culture and managing day to day safety and compliance operations for CACI in Florida. Most of the responsibilities will be done at out Orlando facility with occasional travel (10-25%) supporting Melbourne, Tampa Bay and Sarasota.

Responsibilities:

Participates in the laser laboratory compliance inspection programPerforms routine laser laboratory onsite safety assessmentsEnsures laser use environment meets ANSI regulatory requirements and other applicable standards, and recommends appropriate control measuresMaintains the site hazardous waste disposal locationApproves, maintains and inventories of on-site chemicals and hazardous wasteProduces, reports and maintains records as appropriateDemonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously and meet assigned deadlinesPerform other related job functions as assignedAbide by federal, state and local laws, CACI rules and regulations, policies and procedures


Qualifications:

2 + years practical experience with health and safety compliance at a large global company with world class safety programsDetailed knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and their state equivalents as well as other applicable industry environmental, health, and safety standardsProficiency in conducting root cause safety investigationsDemonstrated ability to manage federal, state and local regulatory complianceDemonstrated ability to effectively and thoroughly audit facilities as well as assist in addressing audit findingsMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust have a reliable automobileMust be a US citizen

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$52,300-$107,200
