Title: Environmental Manager

The Environmental Manager will effectively lead and manage the environmental programs necessary for operation of the Indianapolis Manufacturing Site Plant in compliance with Federal, State, and Local Government regulations and adherence to internal Company policies and standards.
Your role will be:
Implement and maintain site level environmental programs, policies, and procedures at the Plant to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, and internal corporate policies and standards.Ensure compliance with site specific Title V, NDPES, and Industrial Discharge Permits; Spill Prevention Plan and Storm water Protection Plan; and waste management regulations.Build working relationships and serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies such as IDEM, EPA, and Citizens Water Authority.Continually improve site specific programs and tools/software to execute environmental requirements.Contribute to the achievement of sustainability goals such as greenhouse gas emissions, water intensity, COD intensity, landfill avoidance, and plastic neutrality.Provide information and guidance to site leadership regarding changes to government regulations, proposed regulations, data trends, and corporate standard changes that may impact the site.Facilitate monthly Environmental Committee with key stakeholders by sharing environmental metrics, forecasting performance, and driving action completion.Your profile needs these qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in scientific or engineering discipline.Extensive experience implementing environmental program in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in Corn Wet- Milling.Knowledge of all federal and state environmental laws and practices (e.g., Title V, RCRA, CWA, EPCRA etc.)Expertise to understand the explicit details of all applicable regulatory requirements and what is required to maintain full compliance.Significant, direct, and practical experience dealing with environmental issues in an industrial plant setting.Strong written and verbal communication and good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and in a variety of cultures.You will need these skills to be successful:
