Join Syngenta Grangemouth as an Environmental Manager, where you'll provide expert environmental advice and coaching to support our site strategy and operations. Your will be managing and implementing sustainable HSE improvements in line with legislative, corporate, and site requirements.
Maintain the site’s Licence to Operate, engaging with SEPA and other regulatory bodies; and oversee Environmental Management Certification.Manage environmental and sustainability reporting, and analyze environmental data for improvements.Lead environmental strategies and initiatives aligned with Syngenta’s goals.Ensure compliance with environmental legislation for operations and projects.Implement and optimize environmental policies and practices.Provide training and advice to ensure understanding of environmental control measures related to site operations.Collaborate on remediation projects and provide HSEQ support, including incident investigation and auditsCompany Description

Qualifications
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Environmental ManagementProven proactive track record in HSE within a manufacturing environment.Expertise in environmental issues, legislation, and renewable energy.Proven experience managing external stakeholders and conducting root cause analysis.Experience in managing multidisciplinary projects and initiatives.Competencies in other HSE areas (Health & Safety, Quality) are advantageous.

Syngenta's Grangemouth Manufacturing Centre is one of our two award-winning manufacturing sites in the UK. The site was founded in 1919 and today employs nearly 400 skilled people in a variety of roles that include manufacturing, engineering, scientific and production support. Our goal is to operate “safely, reliably and cost effectively” and to help growers protect their crops and increase their yield.
At Syngenta Grangemouth we have four plants dedicated to active ingredient (AI) manufacture, and one finished product formulation and packaging plant with the most recent facility opening in May 2010.
