Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Monitoring Analyst to perform routine environmental monitoring of GMP areas and personnel monitoring for manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will set up and operate environmental monitoring equipment and follow Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Protocols. This role supports QC Micro Analysts in sample receipt from manufacturing and involves tracking and trending of EM, Bioburden, Sterility, and Endotoxin data collected.

ResponsibilitiesPerform routine environmental monitoring of GMP areasConduct personnel monitoring for manufacturing operationsSet up and operate environmental monitoring equipmentFollow and execute Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and ProtocolsRead, revise, and train on SOPs, WIs, Forms, and ProtocolsSupport QC Micro Analysts in sample receipt from manufacturingTrack and trend EM, Bioburden, Sterility, and Endotoxin data collectedPerform inventory stocking in the QC labs and request new materials from the warehouseStreak and isolate recovered organismsEssential SkillsAseptic techniquesEnvironmental monitoringMicrobiologyGMP knowledgeLaboratory skillsBiologyCell cultureSterile and cleanroom experienceQuality control and assurancePipettingBench chemistryAudit skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsAS/BS in a science field (life sciences preferred)1-3 years of prior EM experience in biotech or pharma industryBioWorks certification with 0-2 years of GMP experience consideredExperience following SOPs and executing batch recordsKnowledge in cell culture and aseptic techniques preferredWork Environment

The Environmental Monitoring Analyst will work in both lab and office settings, specifically in a cleanroom environment rated at level 10k and 100k. The role requires sterile gowning and maintaining sterile gowning certification. The shift for this position is Shift B: Wednesday to Saturday, 6 AM to 4 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
