Job Description

As an Environmental Monitoring Technician, you will conduct environmental monitoring activities, including air, surface, and personnel monitoring inside cleanrooms. You will maintain accurate records of work performed in LIMS and Laboratory systems according to Good Documentation Practices, SOPs, and policies. Additional duties include assisting with data entry for analysis and trending, recording results, and reporting deviations from specifications. You will communicate any discrepancies or deviations to supervision/management upon discovery and ensure all work is performed and documented in accordance with existing company policies, procedures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices, and health and safety requirements.

ResponsibilitiesConduct environmental monitoring activities including air, surface, and personnel inside cleanrooms.Maintain accurate records of work performed in LIMS and Laboratory systems.Assist with data entry for analysis and trending.Record results and report deviations from specifications.Communicate any discrepancies or deviations to supervision/management upon discovery.Ensure all work is performed and documented in accordance with company policies, procedures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices, and health and safety requirements.Input data into database and conduct trend analysis.Plan daily workload to meet requirements.Conduct swabbing, sample preparation, and use assay samplers.Essential SkillsProficiency in environmental monitoring and quality control.Experience with cleanrooms and GMP practices.Ability to perform CO2 and compressor sampling.Aseptic technique and basic biology knowledge.Understanding of cGMP.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum high school diploma, with preference for an associate degree in science or coursework with labs.6 months or more of prior environmental monitoring experience is a plus.Experience from a pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing environment.Comfortable with gowning up for 4-5 hours each day.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.Ability to adjust priorities based on business needs.Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or cleaning.Prior gowning experience.Work Environment

This position is based in a clean room environment, with time split between the clean room and a desk. The team is currently composed of three employees but is expected to grow. You will work mostly independently at the RB3 location, requiring a strong initiative and comfort with solo work. The dress code is business casual. Shift hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with some flexibility required as hours may vary slightly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
