Environmental Noise Analyst
Location: Remote - requires travel in Texas once every 1 - 2 months

ICF is seeking an Environmental Noise Analyst to support a broad range of transportation projects, preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents and solutions related to compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. The successful candidate will perform highway traffic noise assessments, extract spatial and traffic data, and build traffic noise models. They will collect traffic noise data in the field, operate a sound level meter and relevant software. This position will require occasional short-term/overnight travel for fieldwork and meetings and will require a valid driver’s license. They will support the assessment of impacts and help the team understand and make decisions related to key project objectives. The ideal candidate would bring initiative, inquisitiveness, a comfort with ambiguity and an enthusiasm for understanding and solving problems in a team-based environment.

BA/BS in environmental studies, urban planning, GIS, or a related field (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)2+ years experience in use/application of Traffic Noise Analysis and appropriate sound measuring equipmentExperience using TNM software (Federal Highway Administration Traffic Noise Modeling software)Experience using ESRI (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst)Must have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) checkAble to lift boxes no heavier than 30 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, driving, walking, standing, above head arm movements

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$59,469.00 - $101,098.00Texas Remote Office (TX99)
