**Description** **Leidos is seeking an Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) Professional to join the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team located in the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) William J Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Egg Harbor, NJ.** This position will be supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's EOSH staff with the goal of mitigating organizational risks and assisting the FAA to achieve an improved state of compliance with Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Federal, State, and Local law. The focus of this position is to provide occupational safety, health, and environmental regulatory compliance support to organizations and the workplaces they manage at the William J Hughes Technical Center. Assigned tasks will include assisting each LOB/SO in various EOSH-related activities, to include: development and delivery of regulatory-required safety, health, and/or environmental training; performance of safety audits at FAA facilities; development of comprehensive reports to convey EOSH regulatory compliance status to organizational managers and union representatives; analysis of EOSH reports to identify trends and to identify programmatic solutions; coordination, scheduling and hosting of quarterly occupational safety, health, and environmental compliance committee meetings (OSHECCOM) and WJHTC Establishment Safety Committees. **Office location** - WJHTC in Egg Harbor, NJ. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass FAA security screening for positions of public trust. Public Trust requires US Citizenship. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. **Primary Responsibilities:** List daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities. • Manage all safety, health, and environmental program administrative related tasks related to the WJHTC Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Compliance Committee, to include scheduling and performing all OSHECCOM-required administrative duties prescribed within established time frames. •Perform annual workplace safety and health inspections at assigned WJHTC facilities and document these inspections utilizing both the FAA’s Workplace Inspection Too and Archibus. •Ensure that all contract-required administrative activities, such as time-card entry, weekly, quarterly, and monthly reports are performed on-time and are accurate. •Maintain frequent interface and communication with manager, FAA personnel, and other contractor personnel. •Oversee multiple EOSH projects, tasks, and deadlines through to completion. Work in a fast-paced team environment. •Effectively communicate in written and verbal form. Provide well-organized documentation. **The scope of EOSH support includes:** •Provide EOSH Subject Matter Expert (SME) assistance, perform EOSH-related program implementation and management activities as assigned by the office of the DASHO (AJW-25) and/or WJHTC Environmental, Occupational Safety, and Health (EOSH) staff. •Assist LOB/SO in achieving compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. •Assist LOB/SO managers in the mitigation of workplace hazards at WJHTC facilities. •Perform all administrative tasks prescribed under the duties of FAA Regional/Center Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Resource in the FAA National OSHECCOM Charter, to include documenting meeting minutes, developing meeting content, and scheduling/coordinating meeting times and dates with OSHECCOM members. •Respond to emergency situations associated with EOSH at WJHTC facilities to include accident and illness investigations or employee reports of unsafe working conditions. Perform mishap investigations, mishap analysis and provide written risk management recommendations to WJHTC top-level management officials. •Create and manage multiple OSH programs and standard operating procedures for WJHTC LOB/SO. •Oversee multiple EOSH projects, tasks, and deadlines through to completion. •Work in a fast-paced team environment. • Identify and coordinate with management and bargaining unit stakeholders to gather information necessary to create new EOSH programs and standard operating procedures •Perform and oversee site visits and create and submit accurate trip reports. •Review and critique draft documents such as proposed orders and procedures to federal, state, and local regulations, including consensus standards where applicable. Minimum Qualifications include: + Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field from a 4-year accredited College/University with 6-8 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree in occupational safety and health with at least 2-6 years of prior relevant experience. + Advanced knowledge and experience with Environmental Occupational Health and Safety laws, regulations, practices, and protocols. + Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and Power Point. + Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects concurrently. + Ability to travel 25% of the time and to regularly report to scheduled FAA facilities. + Exhibit excellent communication skills to be used in responding to technical questions and performing program presentations. + Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability status based on client requirements. Preferred Qualifications: + Currently certified either as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) + Prior experience working with the Federal Aviation Administration and is familiar with operations, facilities, and mission requirements of the William J Hughes Technical Center is highly preferred. + Prior experience with US government managers, employees, and programs.” **Original Posting:** February 28, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
