Kimley-Horn's Nashville, TN office is seeking an Environmental Planner/Project Manager with 4+ years of experience to join their Environmental team! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities Will help expand out multi-disciplinary planning practice in TennesseeHas expertise in managing and preparing NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) documents, preparation of NEPA training materials and guidance documents and a firm knowledge of planning and environmental linkage principalsAttend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and various regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projectsMonitor project progress, budgets, and schedulesYou will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationshipsYou will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors Qualifications 4+ years of planning experience conducting environmental and planning studies for DOT's and municipal transportation agenciesBachelors or Masters Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Botany, Biology, or related fieldPreparation of NEPA documents including management and preparation related environmental technical studiesPossess strong technical writing skills and have experience writing detailed technical reportsDemonstrated knowledge of NEPA required agency coordination effortsKnowledge and ability to assist with public involvement related activitiesInterest in working with planners and designers to avoid and minimize ecological impactsWillingness and flexibility to travel for projects as neededStrong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlinesDesire to provide exceptional client serviceAbility to manage multiple priorities Why Kimley-Horn?
