Environmental Project Manager
Job Title: Environmental Project ManagerJob Description Manage and oversee environmental investigation and remediation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Prepare technical reports for submission to regulatory agencies such as the Regional Water Quality Control Board and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). Conduct soil sampling, environmental monitoring, and other fieldwork activities. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success. Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Utilize project management tools to manage project data and documentation. Stay current with regulatory frameworks and compliance trends. In the first 2 years, you will engage in fieldwork (50/50%), but with 5+ years of experience, fieldwork will be minimal (10%). The work culture emphasizes mentoring and development with various growth pathways including Technical to PM to Business Management, Technical to Expert to Renowned Expert, and Technical to PM to Sales/BD. The company offers lower pressure on billability, the opportunity to see projects through from start to finish, and values employee development. Benefits include paid overtime, straight time, and an annual performance-based bonus of 4-5%. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $65.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
