Your work environment at EXP

Description for Candidates: We are seeking a self-motivated, mid-level position with a background in Environmental Science to join a well-established, but growing group that provides technical planning support, multimodal and transit planning, safety planning, corridor planning, grants management, NEPA and support and policy analysis for some of the most interesting infrastructure-related projects in South Florida. Our clients are typically private sector and governmental entities who need help with consulting for the development of infrastructure projects. Our client's solutions often start with our research results. The position may support clients in-house for staff augmentation.

 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Serves as the primary client liaison and manages the project team Responsible for management and successful delivery of assigned tasks Understand fundamentals of NEPA and working with different lead agencies Develop technical documents and presentations Conducts environmental impact reviews of transportation improvement projects. Conducts Geographical Information Systems (GIS) based systems analysis Prepares National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other Project Development and Environment (PD&E) environmental documentation Independently reviews construction plans for roadway projects for NEPA Participates in preparing, tracking and reviewing project commitments from PD&E

What your experience looks like

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field At least 2+ years of technical planning experience Experience with ArcGIS and datasets (Preference for ArcGIS Pro) Ability to manage small to mid-size projects Excellent technical writing skills Excellent oral communication and organization skills Excellent data management and quantitative skills Experience in providing objective analysis and attention to detail
