Job Summary Supports department leadership by coordinating the day-to-day shift activities of Environmental Services and Patient Transportation. Role includes training new and existing employees, working side by side with management, deploying staff as needed through Epic Tracker software, general cleaning, floor maintenance and special project activities. Essential Functions + Coordinate shift activities to include produce daily staffing roster, adjust staff assignments as needed, monitor EPIC tracker for room cleans, equipment requests, and patient transports. + Perform job duties as Patient Transporter, Environmental Attendants, or floor maintenance technicians. + Work with Supervisor to safe and compliant use of chemicals products, use of equipment, and performance issues. + Assist with training to include mandatory education, compliance, departmental training, and new employee orientation. + Participate in hospital committees and special programs. + Utilize the PFCC model for interactions with all customers internal and external. + Manage and triage all incoming calls for the hospital, POB, Outpatient Service center, and Rehabilitation and Dialysis Center.
