Environmental Services Supervisor
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Evening Shift **Description:** To provide a clean environment and assist staff in providing professional, quality care to the patient and family. Plans, organizes, directs and assesses the work of employees to maintain the highest possible sanitary standards and good public relations. Promotes the safety, health and positive morale of visitors and employees and the patient's recovery by providing a clean, attractive, safe environment. Performs supervisory functions in a thorough and efficient manner using resources of time, supplies, equipment and instruction to continually improve the quality of work performed. 80 hours per pay period Primarily 2nd shift Secondary Mid Shift or Variable as needed. 3pm to 11:30pm or 12:30pm to 9pm or variable as needed Every other weekend or as needed. Rotating Holidays **Position Summary:** Under the guidance of the Director of Environmental Services, and in accordance with the _Trinity Health Strategic Plan_ , supervises one or more shifts of the day-to-day, 24x7 operations of the Environmental Services Department, including team leaders. Accountable for ensuring total quality cleanliness of all hospital interior spaces (and some exterior) as evidenced by internal quarterly housekeeping audits. **What the Environmental Services Supervisor Will Need:** + Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of related experience and proven abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. + Bachelor’s Degree preferred + Certified Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) within first 6-months; Certified Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) within first year. + Prior experience in the health care, hotel, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, or other related field required + Prior experience with intuitional cleaning and floor care.
