Join Our Team as an Environmental Services Technician!

At TriHealth, our Environmental Services Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Under the direct supervision of the floor supervisor, you will be responsible for cleaning patient areas, offices, and public and private restrooms. Your tasks will include surface cleaning, wet mopping, and ensuring a sanitary condition at all times.

Location:  Bethesda Medical Arrow Spring - 100 Arrow Springs Blvd., Lebanon, OH 45036

Work Hours:

Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly 3rd shift (Nights) Weekends and Holiday rotation

Job Requirements:

Knowledge of all equipment used and skills necessary to perform assigned tasks 1-2 years of experience in a related field

As an Environmental Services Technician, you will:

Utilize your time efficiently, adhere to assigned schedules, and promptly respond to calls. Follow proper procedures when cleaning isolation rooms and high-risk areas, using appropriate personal protective equipment. Clean and replenish all areas, including floors, sinks, furniture, and specialized equipment. Properly dispose of all types of waste and maintain cleanliness in waste disposal areas. Collaborate with your team to maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Efficiently manage time by going to the assigned area immediately after receiving the daily work sheet, supplies, and keys, and not leaving the work area earlier than 10 minutes before the end of the shift. Adhere to scheduled lunch/break times, promptly respond to calls, and notify the supervisor when assignments are completed. Use proper procedures when cleaning isolation rooms with appropriate personal protective clothing and equipment. Employ proper techniques for cleaning labs or high-risk areas. Clean floors, sinks, commodes, showers, tubs, all furniture (including fabric and upholstered), high and low dusting of all surfaces, windows, sills, mirrors, walls, tile, and specialized equipment in nurseries or Labor and Delivery. Clean and replenish all dispensers with soap and paper products, and maintain housekeeping closets and equipment. Clean and return to appropriate storage areas. Remove and properly dispose of all waste, including regular waste, recyclable waste, and infectious waste. Clean waste cans inside and out and reline with the appropriate liner. Be a team player by leaving the work area and equipment clean and organized.
