Job Description Summary:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our Corporate Social Responsibility team at Coca-Cola. The successful candidate will lead and support initiatives that enhance the sustainability of our operations, reduce our environmental footprint, and promote sustainable practices throughout our supply chain. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of sustainability issues in the CPG industry.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Implementation:

Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with the company’s goals and values.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into business operations.

Environmental Impact Management:

Monitor and report on key environmental performance metrics, including carbon footprint, water usage, waste management, and energy consumption.

Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and implement initiatives to achieve sustainability targets.

Supply Chain Sustainability:

Work with suppliers to ensure sustainable sourcing of materials and adherence to environmental standards.

Promote and implement sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, NGOs, and regulatory bodies, to advance sustainability initiatives.

Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and public forums related to sustainability.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and corporate sustainability policies.

Prepare sustainability reports and disclosures for stakeholders, including annual sustainability reports and contributions to the company's integrated report.

Education and Advocacy:

Educate and train employees on sustainability practices and environmental stewardship.

Advocate for a culture of sustainability within the organization and promote involvement in sustainability initiatives


Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in progress with a final graduation date no earlier than December 2025.

Related Work Experience:

Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.

Must be highly motivated, flexible and deadline driven.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong planning and organization skills are required.

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.

The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
