Join our team and play a vital role in maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our patients and staff! We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate to:
Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, hallways, waiting areas, and other areas within the healthcare facility.Strictly follow established cleaning and disinfection procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.Collect, transport, and dispose of general waste, regulated medical waste (biohazardous), and soiled linens according to established guidelines.Replenish supplies in patient rooms and common areas, ensuring adequate stock levels of essential items.Respond efficiently and courteously to requests for cleaning services from nurses, doctors, and other healthcare personnel.Safely operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, and other specialized machinery.Qualifications
High school diploma and/or GED education. Requires enough basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral and written instructions. Able to read and write use simple arithmetic keeps simple records or use simple office machines. Minimum 6 months janitorial experience in Healthcare or Nursing Home preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must maintain current Fire Safety card.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
