**Basic Qualifications:**
· 2+ years of experience in Environmental/Scientific Field/Chemical Industry.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, Tools:**
· Excellent communication & social skills.
· Experience developing and leading projects.
· Skillful in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
· Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
· A.S. or better in Environmental or other related field preferred.
· HAZWOPER, Method 21/LDAR, Stormwater Inspector, and/or RCRA Training preferred
· Industry & regulatory experience with air, water, and/or waste is preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
· Seeking a motivated Environmental Technician with strong problem-solving capabilities.
· Work with co-workers and oversee vendors as necessary to enhance established processes.
· Provide field support for all environmental aspects and impacts.
· Conduct field assignments such as compliance audits, regulatory inspections, on the job training, field parameter sampling, job hazard analysis, and risk assessments.
· Participate in Emergency Response Preparedness scenarios and support the site Emergency Response Team in the event of an incident.
· Collaborate with Incident Command and support any emergencies with environmental support as needed.
· Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate environmental operational risk points with the goal of generating a safer work and more efficient workplace.
· Collaborate with other departments on project coordination including step plan review, pre-task plans, work grading and job walks. Oversee emergent project work requiring environmental operational support.
· Support other areas within EH&S to maintain business continuity.
