Position Overview

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking interns to join our Maryland team for summer 2025. Duties will include, but not be limited to, invasive plant control, vegetation monitoring/transplanting, erosion control, and stream enhancement/restoration and maintenance.  Interns will have the opportunity to rotate through different departments including ecosystems management, environmental science, and environmental compliance. Interns will also participate in in-house training courses including, plant identification, forest/wetland delineation, and stream restoration engineering. Work will primarily be located in Cecil County, Maryland.

 

Applicants should be interested in and understand wetland and riparian ecology and possess a strong work ethic with the desire to gain experience in different aspects of environmental consulting. This internship involves a large amount of outdoor work with rigorous physical labor and may occasionally involve working long hours. Interns will be expected to become a Maryland Certified Pesticide Applicator.

 

At least one year of undergraduate studies in a related field is required.
