Support the Supply Chain environmental team and will effectively lead the environmental programs necessary for operation of the Clearing Manufacturing Site Plant in compliance with Federal, State, and Local Government regulations and adherence to internal Company policies and standards.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in scientific or engineering discipline.5-10 years experienceExtensive experience implementing environmental program in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in air regulations.Knowledge of all federal and state environmental laws and practices (e.g., Title V, RCRA, CWA, EPCRA, Class K Pretreatment Facility, etc.)Experience leading state regulators through audits and submitting annual regulatory reports.Skilled in database management, especially access databases.Expertise to understand the explicit details of all applicable regulatory requirements and what is required to maintain full compliance.Significant, direct, and practical experience dealing with environmental issues in an industrial plant setting.Strong written and verbal communication and good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and in a variety of cultures.Immigration sponsorship not offered with this positionPRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Implement and maintain site level environmental programs, policies, and procedures at the Plant to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, and internal corporate policies and standards.Ensure compliance with site specific Title V, NDPES, and Industrial Discharge Permits; Spill Prevention Plan and Storm water Protection Plan; and waste management regulations.Build working relationships and serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies such as IEPA, EPA, and MWRD.Continually improve site specific programs and tools/software to execute environmental requirements.Provide information and guidance to site leadership regarding changes to government regulations, proposed regulations, data trends, and corporate standard changes that may impact the site.Interact with third-party vendors regarding disposal of waste, water testing, etc.Benefits
