EOI: Technician - Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Job ID 192025 Posted 04-Nov-2024 Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management Location(s) Batu Kawan - Pulau Pinang - Malaysia, George Town - Pulau Pinang - Malaysia, Kampung Sungai Ara - Pulau Pinang - Malaysia **Job Details:** Location: Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang **Job Descriptions:** + Operate wastewater treatment plant and ensure the final discharge fulfills the DOE specifications. + Perform daily operation checking, performance monitoring, sampling and testing. + Collect, record and update daily operation data, performance monitoring data, water analysis data, chemical inventory data and etc. in check sheet. + Perform routine operation activities on equipment and system. + Prepare and top up chemical tanks whenever necessary. + Clear scums, debris & rubbish from sump and pump whenever necessary. + Perform regular cleaning for sensor, tank, equipment and etc. + Perform general housekeeping to keep and maintain cleanliness of plant at all times. + Able to troubleshoot simple breakdowns and repairs when required. + Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty. + Any other duties as assigned. **Job Requirement:** + Minimum SPM with 2-3 years' experience with wastewater treatment plant or sewage treatment plant. + Ability to work in a team and follow superior instruction. + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. + Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
