The Junior Engineer will contribute to the delivery of Asset Life Optimisation (ALO) consultancy services to the internal Wood business units and to Wood’s external client base. This role is primarily based in Wood offices but may also require on-site support, both onshore and offshore.

Roles in this team are crucial for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of engineering projects and will typically support one or more of the following specialist areas:
1.Integrity Management (IM):
Fitness-for-Service (FFS): Providing expert advice and assessments around fitness-for-purpose assessment of pressure systems including re-rating and de-rating. Asset Integrity Management: Developing and implementing integrity management strategies for pipelines and process facilities, including Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and written schemes of inspection Integrity Software: Specifying, implementing, and supporting our NEXUS Integrity Centre (NEXUS IC) software, or other similar asset performance management software.2. Corrosion and Materials (C&M):
Corrosion & Material Selection: Providing expert advice and solutions to avoid and manage corrosion-related problems in new projects or modifications to existing facilities. Welding: Development, inspection and verification of welding procedures and activities in new projects or modifications to existing facilities. Cathodic Protection (CP): Develop, review and specifiy cathodic protection systems in new projects or modifications to existing facilities.3. Vibration, Dynamic and Noise (VDN)
Static Equipment and Structures (SES): Providing expert advice and solutions to avoid vibration-related problems in new projects or modifications to existing facilities. Machinery Analysis (MA): Assisting in the design of machinery systems such as compressors, pumps, and associated piping to ensure they operate smoothly and safely. Rotating Equipment Reliability (RER): Implement techniques such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography to monitor the health of rotating equipment. Field Engineering and Troubleshooting (FET): Conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and performance testing on-site to solve vibration and performance issues.
