Job Overview

An Installation Technician will provide support to the Operations Manager before, during, and after the installation and commissioning phases of the project. He/She is responsible for collaborating with subcontractors and other installation crews, ensuring all Pry-Cam hardware is installed accurately, in accordance with quality standards all while ensuring high customer satisfaction. The Installation Technician is responsible for ensuring that the process achieves the performance and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

· Support the PM/Operations Manager on the installation schedule preparation

· Determine the number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)

· Monitor installation to resolve issues

· Enforce health and safety precautions

· Ensure output meets quality standards

· Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order

· Resolve issue on the installation and report them to the Operation Manager

· Communicate any problems or obstacles to the Operation Manager

· Obtain Pictures of site/installation and send to Operation Manager

Required Experience:

· Experience in computer science, electronic, or a related field

· Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating on site

· Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues

· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computer technology

· Possess a valid state driver’s license

· Lift and move up-to 60lbs – some of our ladders weigh 50-60lbs

· Able to work in confined spaces and aloft

· Identify wire and cable colors

· Structured cabling experience. (Installing J-hooks, beam clamps, etc.)

· Understand the basic knowledge of electricity

· Experience in splicing fiber optic cable

· Experience in operating forklifts and aerial lifts

· Ability to travel frequently

· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

· Ability to work independently
