EP&P Manager - Buy Desk
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Buy Desk Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of Buy Desk Specialists, guiding them and business users through the Buying process, from initiating Purchase Requisition to creating, modifying, and maintaining Purchase Order, sourcing, and contracting support and ensuring seamless procurement operations. The successful candidate will have a proven record in procurement management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Team Management:Lead and manage a team of Buy Desk Specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support.Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture focused on achieving organizational goals.

Guidance and Training:Provide expert guidance to business users on the procurement processes related to Buying, including raising purchase requisitions and purchase orders.Develop and deliver training programs for the Buy Desk team and end-users to enhance their understanding of Buying and related upstream and downstream procurement processes.
Validation and Approval:Oversee the validation of purchase requisitions and creation of purchase orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement guidelines.Supervise the buy desk approval process for purchase requisitions, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure correct and timely chain of approvals.
Sourcing Support:Collaborate with business users and sourcing team to identify potential suppliers for goods or services during the buying process.Support in sourcing activities, including three bids and a buy, market research, vendor identification, and gathering supplier information.
Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and external suppliers, to facilitate smooth Buying processes.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance communication and collaboration.
Supplier Relationship Management:Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential suppliers, fostering effective communication and collaboration.Reporting and Analysis:Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities.Provide regular reports to leadership on the performance of the Buy Desk team and identify buy desk best practices for continuous improvement.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for technical and process improvement within the Buy Desk function and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement system and process enhancements in Buy Desk operations.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure that all procurement activities comply with organizational policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with Buy Desk processes.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field10+ years of experience preferably in a service center, leading procurement operations with a focus on Buying and Sourcing activities including purchase requisitions and purchase ordersPrevious experience in a leadership or managerial role is highly desirableStrong understanding of Source to Pay procurement processes and policies, compliance, and risk management.Understanding of Purchase-to-pay tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, etc.).Experience in Coupa will be a plus.Experience of managing multi geographies across time-zonesProficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Global Experience within the professional services industry in procurement or related functionExperience of managing SLA and performance for supportAbility to tailor presentations to address the specific concerns and interests of senior leadership
