Epic & Active Directory Provisioning Specialist

We are seeking a remote detail-oriented Epic Account Provisioning & Active Directory Account Creation to support our client. Location: Remote Duration: 4 months Duties: The Epic & Active Directory Provisioning Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that Epic user accounts are provisioned in accordance with healthcare security protocols and that Active Directory accounts are set up to provide seamless access to essential systems and resources. Epic Account Provisioning: Manage and create user accounts within the Epic Systems environment, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards and healthcare regulations. Verify appropriate permissions and user roles in Epic based on job functions and department requirements. Coordinate with department leads and Epic system administrators to ensure timely provisioning of accounts for new hires, transfers, and role changes. Deactivate and remove access for employees who are no longer with the organization or no longer require Epic access. Maintain documentation of user account creation, modifications, and deactivation processes. Troubleshoot and resolve Epic account issues related to access, permissions, and system performance. Active Directory Account Creation & Management: Create and manage user accounts, groups, and organizational units (OUs) in Microsoft Active Directory (AD). Ensure proper permissions are assigned to AD accounts, based on user roles and job functions, to maintain security and operational efficiency. Perform regular audits of Active Directory to ensure compliance with internal security policies and standards. Assist with user account migration processes when moving between departments or systems. Monitor and manage user access to shared network resources (folders, printers, etc.), ensuring proper access rights are granted and revoked as needed. Skills: Proficient in Epic Systems provisioning and support. Expertise in Active Directory management, including user accounts, groups, and organizational units. Strong knowledge of security and compliance protocols in healthcare IT environments. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve user account-related issues in both Epic and Active Directory. Familiarity with healthcare security regulations and organizational policies. Strong problem-solving and documentation skills. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with Epic Systems and Active Directory in a healthcare or enterprise IT environment. Proven track record in managing user access and ensuring system security and compliance. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Epic certification or relevant IT security certifications are a plus. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
