Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Epic Credentialed Trainer - ClinDoc to join the Team. This hybrid role will be full-time with a schedule that may vary based on business needs, including evenings, nights, or weekends.
The Epic Credentialed Trainer – ClinDoc supports EpicPIC "go-live" support activities by providing classroom training to end users of assigned applications using the curriculum, lessons and training materials provided by the organization's principal trainers. Administers the proficiency assessment and evaluation processes. Oversees classroom logistics such as set-up, materials, supplies and equipment. Collaborates with principal trainers to provide feedback on additional end-user learning needs while providing remediation of identified issues and continuous quality improvement activities.

Serves as functional trainer on the assigned application including project history/scope and information about the specific workflows. Ensures student learning through the application of adult education strategies and training tips/tricks. Ensures the training environment is conducive to learning, which includes but is not limited to checking equipment prior to each class to verify it is in working order, distributing participant materials to each workstation prior to training start, and maintaining control of classroom during training. Distributes and encourages trainees to complete a written evaluation regarding the training experience and content. Inventories supplies on a regular basis and notifies the appropriate resource to replenish prior to immediate need. Collaborates with the principal trainers and involves build team analysts, informatics liaisons and others as needed to identify refinements, progress and solutions to identified problems with specific workflows and system updates. Participates in ongoing improvement discussions with principal trainers. Serves as a Command Center member being deployed, as needed, to provide end-user support during 24/7 operations for time necessary post-implementation.Epic Credentialed Trainer – ClinDoc Additional Requirements:
Work Schedule: Primarily work day-shift Monday – Friday; Hybrid; Schedule may vary based on business needs, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and nights as required. Education: Associate degree; or HS Diploma/GED and 2 years of relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required Certification: Pass an Epic credentialing test within the first 6 months of hire with a minimum score of 85 percentEpic Credentialed Trainer – ClinDoc Preferred Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) preferred. Clinical experience preferred. Previous experience working with Epic preferred. Previous experience teaching Epic preferred.
