About the Role
South Central Regional Medical Center is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Epic implementation team as an Epic Implementation Intern. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the implementation of a leading healthcare software system. The intern will play a critical role in supporting the success of the project by assisting with various tasks and ensuring smooth workflows within the Epic department.
Key Responsibilities
+ Support Epic Implementation Tasks: Assist the Epic implementation team with scheduling, documentation, and coordination of activities related to the software rollout.
+ Proctor Certification Exams: Serve as the proctor for Epic certification exams, ensuring the integrity of the testing process by maintaining compliance with guidelines and procedures.
+ Workflow Coordination: Help manage task assignments, track deadlines, and communicate progress to team members.
+ Documentation and Reporting: Assist in compiling documentation for training materials, system configurations, and project updates.
+ Team Collaboration: Work closely with analysts, trainers, and stakeholders to support implementation goals.
+ Learning and Development: Actively participate in training sessions to understand Epic modules and how they are applied in the hospital setting.
Qualifications
+ Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Availability to commit to the duration of the internship.
