ePortfolio Officer

We are working on behalf of a leading professional body in the healthcare education sector, currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ePortfolio Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. The role is perfect for someone with strong administrative experience, particularly with electronic systems and databases, and an interest in supporting medical training and education.

Job Title: ePortfolio Officer (Temporary Position)
Location: Hybrid working with 2 days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) in Central London office
Contract Type: Full-time, 35-hour week (Monday to Friday)
Duration: Initial 2-3 weeks, with potential for extension
Salary: £36,707 pro rata

Key responsibilities:
• Learning System Management: Oversee the development and administrative functioning of the Learning Management System, ensuring alignment with training curricula.
• User Support: Serve as the first point of contact for UK-based trainees, consultants, assessors, and administrative staff, providing timely assistance via phone and email.
• System Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve system issues at the backend, liaising with developers to ensure prompt fixes.
• Project Management: Lead on LMS-related projects, manage system improvements, and provide quality assurance testing ahead of new releases.
• Administrative Support: Plan and organise meetings, training events, and quarterly reviews, ensuring accurate minute-taking and follow-up actions.

What we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate will have:
• Relevant administrative experience, particularly in technical systems or electronic portfolios.
• A strong ability to communicate technical issues clearly and offer specialist advice to users.
• A background in data entry, proofreading, document formatting, and managing databases.
• Experience supporting meetings, including drafting agendas and taking minutes.
• Proven project management skills, with experience in managing and supporting project outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of attention to detail.


Essential requirements:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience working with electronic systems and databases.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Familiarity with SurveyMonkey is essential.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.


Desirable experience:
• Prior experience within the medical or education sectors.
• Experience within public sector, not-for-profit, or membership organisations.
• Working knowledge of website content updates.
