Job Overview

The Business Systems Trainer 1 role, creates and delivers end user training on business process and system usage. This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities, creating and delivering training to improve user performance. This role will work closely with the Business Systems Analyst and Business Systems Manager on system and process improvement. This role will be required to be a functional SME on business systems, process and function as well as assist in testing system improvements and providing documentation of changes.

Duties & Responsibilities Provide On Boarding and continuing education for employees ensuring business effectiveness and employee preparation for advancement. Evaluate business systems and process for consistent, effective and efficient performance. Create learning criteria and success measures to support a robust training system. Create and keep current, documentation of business processes, and systems. Serve as functional expert on processes and systems needed to support field support and service. Support development teams, with system enhancements, system testing and documentation of changes. Provide end user on boarding and continued educational training on various job functions: Classroom, 1:1, and Remote Learning. Administration - Maintain Training records and documentation supporting employee training program. Plan Training schedules and provide EE progress evaluations to leadership. Acts as SME on business systems and processes. Create and deliver training materials and classes for business processes and systems. Assist with system testing and documentation and change management. Other department support or backup activities or projects as directed by leadership. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Self-starter with professional demeanor and positive attitude. Must be able to quickly learn and understand complex business processes. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills w/ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel. Strong Computer Skills with Proficiency using M/S Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word). Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma, 3-5 years of experience Preferred Qualifications Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Communication or Business Administration Work Environment
