This person will deal with many different and sometimes emotional people during investigations, arranging hearings, and presenting investigation outcomes in a hearing. Shift 40 hours, Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Summary The Equal Opportunity Investigator will report to the Deputy Director of Investigations. This position will investigate and help to ensure the timely resolution of assigned reports of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, and sexual misconduct involving members of the University community. When reports are received, this position will conduct a prompt, thorough, and unbiased investigation and provide a written report of the findings. This position will facilitate the resolution process in a manner that supports the community and respects differences. This position will be required to maintain a working knowledge of current federal regulations (Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, VAWA, the Clery Act, FERPA, etc.) related to any discrimination impacting the University community, make recommendations for policy changes, and conduct training.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Demonstrated experience conducting Title IX and Title VII investigations in higher education. Title IX Investigator training certification is preferred.
