Equipment Calibrations Analyst - Seasonal

Position Summary:

This position is responsible to ensure time-sensitive calibrations, preventative maintenance, equipment qualifications required for ISO certification are properly documented in the system used to maintain capital assets and quality control requirements.  This person will work closely with the Facilities Supervisor and equipment technicians to schedule, track, and complete documentation and maintenance in a timely manner.  The incumbent will collaborate with technicians within the Facilities department and with other departments as needed to assure that the data is accurate and up to date.  

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all equipment that require calibration and qualification for ISO 13485 compliance is identified Track, schedule and coordinate the completion of equipment preventative maintenanceTracking equipment inventory, changes, and impactsCommunicate with vendors to update and renew service contractsResolve non-conformance reports on failed calibrations by working with the equipment owners and the quality assurance teamReport monthly status of open and completed actions, calibration, maintenance, and general eventsPartner with facilities and laboratory teams to ensure that deadlines are being met on an individual and team levelTroubleshoot and problem solve issues with softwareTrain and support facilities staff on software.  Complete assigned work orders in a timely mannerPerform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of relevant experience; or a Technical or Associate degree and 1-3 year of relevant experience; or, bachelor’s degree in a related field of computer science and up to 3 years of relevant experience Experience in project coordination and/or facilities management. Experienced with Microsoft’s Power Bi

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Working knowledge of VOIP systemsKnowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systemsSkilled in planning, organization, time management and multi-taskingSkilled in problem solving and critical thinking, including the ability to identify and appropriately evaluate an appropriate course of action considering all relevant variablesSkilled in establishing effective interpersonal relationships such as the ability to solicit key ideas and informationStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, SharePoint and AdobeStrong spatial sense with ability to read floor plans, facility maps and blueprintsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamAbility to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentialityDetail oriented, thorough, and accurate
