Introduction to the job

The successful candidate is responsible for smooth operations and maintenance of utilities at our site (inclusive of Chiller systems _ turbo & screw type over 600RT, Process Chilled Water systems, Air compressor systems, Air handling and conditioning units, Boilers, Cooling tower).

Responsible in making sure ZERO Facilities interruption contributed by mechanical systems to factory, which in return reduces manufacturing downtime.

Responsible in Supervising facilities operations day to day activity.

The candidate will be appointed as a safety officer for chillers systems in accordance to acts(고압가스 냉동제조시설 안전관리자자 또는 관리원).

Role & Responsibilities

Must be able to work safely and follow policies and procedures in an industrial environment under minimal supervision.Ensure all mechanical systems design; installation, troubleshooting and maintenance is following company safety requirement, guideline, and local regulatory requirements.Conducting of Mechanical system reliability, capacity, and up time control.  Develop and define mechanical system KPI. Also responsible in updating monthly system uptime, Preventive Maintenance (PM) completion, Capacity,Responsible to order and keep sufficient critical Spare parts on site for all mechanical systems.To ensure permits are in compliance with government rules and regulation and valid at all times.To coordinate all external contractors in their work, safeguard the compliance of health, safety, and environmental obligations.Creating, maintaining, and monitoring work schedules with clearly defined priorities.Ability to effectively communicate technical results.Candidate will be required to wear PPE and embrace ASML 5S requirements.

Result oriented, motivated, resourceful, self-starter, ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business partners.Mechanical/HVAC planning and project lead in Mechanical system and HVAC maintenanceBuilding maintenance management skill & Preventive maintenance and facilities system trouble shooting.Effective at planned maintenance, continuous optimization to identify and implement to improve tool availability.Be flexible, responsible and matured in decision making & good senses or urgency.Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.

Educational and other requirements

Must have related qualifications, Engineer Air-Conditioning Refrigerating Machinery (공조냉동기계 산업기사/기사)Bachelors of Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or associate degreeAt least 5~10 years of relevant, work-related experience with a Bachelors’ degree.Practical experience with chiller systems is highly desirable.Experience troubleshooting electronics, mechanical parts, various utilities, complex equipment, etc.Computer proficiency with MS Outlook 365 applications, with knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP system.Written and oral communication skills in Korean and English.
