Job Responsibilities Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems of Lithography, Dry Etch/PVD, Wet Etch/Plating, and Metrology tools during shift hours to ensure continuous, efficient operation. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns or equipment malfunctions on all equipment, providing timely repairs to minimize downtime. Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with equipment, specifically in the Lithography, Dry Etch/PVD, Wet Etch/Plating, and Metrology areas, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Shift Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance, and any incidents or breakdowns that occur during shifts. Ensure all logs are up to date for handover and review. Yield Team (YE Team): Coordinate with the Yield Team to ensure equipment is aligned with production goals. Provide real-time updates on equipment status, report any performance-related issues affecting yield, and collaborate on optimizing machine efficiency to improve output quality. Process Team: Regularly communicate with the Process Team to ensure smooth integration of equipment performance with process requirements. Follow up on the process release plan after the tool has been recovered and ensure the equipment is ready for production as per the planned schedule. Assist in troubleshooting process-related issues and provide updates on maintenance schedules or equipment availability. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and operational procedures. Participate in safety meetings and strictly adhere to safety protocols and company policies. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in equipment performance, processes, and maintenance practices. Recommend enhancements to optimize equipment reliability and efficiency. Training & Development: Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge of equipment systems. Provide support and mentoring to junior engineers or technicians as necessary. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification. Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, specifically with Lithography, Dry Etch/PVD, Wet Etch/Plating, and Metrology tools. Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting techniques, and mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to Lithography, Dry Etch/PVD, Wet Etch/Plating, and Metrology tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, handovers, and team collaboration. Must be able to communicate effectively with both the Yield Team and the Process Team to ensure smooth operations and optimized production output. A strong focus on safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Experience with Lithography, Dry Etch/PVD, Wet Etch/Plating, and Metrology tools in a semiconductor or related manufacturing environment. Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and automation equipment. Certification or training in industrial equipment maintenance or reliability. Knowledge of ISO or other quality management systems.
