Job Title: Equipment Engineering Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Equipment Engineering Technician to ensure efficient production methods, improve workflow, and optimize space utilization. The ideal candidate will recommend and implement software and equipment upgrades, and participate in the development of departmental procedures. This role involves setting goals and objectives for the department, maintaining good working relationships with all departments, and updating preventive and predictive maintenance information systems.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure efficient production methods, workflow, and space utilization.Recommend and implement software and equipment upgrades.Participate in the development of new or improved departmental procedures.Set goals and objectives for the department.Interface with engineers, managers, and other stakeholders in group meetings.Develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments.Assist with maintaining preventive and predictive maintenance information systems by updating the equipment database.Perform additional assignments as deemed necessary by management.Assist other contract personnel with the setup of equipment into the SAP system.Accurately update the SAP system with equipment information.Essential Skills1+ year SAP experience1+ year Manufacturing environment experienceExperience with equipment data entry in SAP (pumps, vessels, valves, etc.)Ability to create and update Bills of Material in SAPAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Adept softwareProficiency in Outlook, Raster, Adobe, and equipment inventory managementAbility to assist with data gathering and research for the Engineering, Maintenance, and Production Departments and for approved ContractorsCoordinate the update of new and existing equipment in SAPAssist the engineering department with projects to ensure proper equipment data entry into SAPVerify equipment in process areas to ensure accuracy in the SAP systemWork Environment

The candidate must be able to participate in an intensive team environment and will work directly with the maintenance and project engineering departments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
