Position Overview & Responsibilities: The Equipment Lifecycle Manager is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of company-owned facilities and equipment, evaluating structural integrity, electrical systems, and asset lifecycle to determine end-of-life status, maintenance needs, and replacement schedules. This role plays a key part in developing long-term asset management strategies and associated budgets. Travel, including overnight stays, is required. Major Areas of Accountability: + Plan, schedule, and perform on-site assessments across all operational regions to evaluate the condition of equipment, electrical systems, and building structures (both interior and exterior). + Maintain a centralized database of facility conditions, equipment lifecycles, and asset replacement forecasts to support data-driven decision-making. + Identify and recommend facility improvements, repairs, and upgrades based on assessment findings. + Assist in the development of project scopes, technical documentation, and work specifications for facility upgrades and repairs. + Source and analyze vendor quotes for recommended repairs to facilitate accurate budgeting and approval processes. Education, Training, and Experience Requirements: Education & Technical Skills: + High School Diploma required; additional technical training or certification in facility management, electrical systems, or construction is a plus. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required. Industry Experience: + Minimum 5 years of experience in hog farm facility maintenance, repair, and/or equipment installation. + Hands-on experience performing electrical inspections and troubleshooting facility electrical systems. + Strong knowledge of equipment functionality, construction techniques, and blueprint interpretation.
