**Equipment Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Dulles, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for disassembling, testing, calibrating, repairing, documenting, and reassembling ground support equipment and maintenance tooling for US customers. Proficiency in electrical systems, hydraulics, and testing voltage is essential. **Responsibilities** + Disassemble, test, calibrate, repair, document, and reassemble ground support equipment and maintenance tooling. + Interpret engineering drawings accurately. + Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems. + Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Use hand tools effectively. + Travel to customer sites across the US a few times a year, with trips lasting from a few days up to two weeks. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of experience in servicing machinery/equipment. + Strong written communication skills. + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Experience in maintenance, including inspecting, writing work orders, and reading manuals. + Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Ability to read blueprints. + Valid driver's license. + Ability to travel up to 25%. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with blueprint reading. + Mechanical experience, particularly in repair and maintenance of ground support equipment. + Knowledge of brake systems. **Why Work Here?** This company is growing alongside the thriving aviation industry. The standard start time is 8 AM. The team travels to various customer sites in the US a few times a year, and on rare occasions, trips may last up to two weeks.
