JOB SUMMARY
The Equipment Operator works with other employees as a team for all areas of the plant. The operators operate and maintain equipment. The Equipment Operator will rotate among the different areas in the process area on a regular and frequent basis. The equipment owner will perform starts up and operating automated production equipment and monitoring the efficiency, quality, and safety of production processes. You will report to the operations team. You will work onsite full time. Starting up to $23.97 per hour, (attendance incentives of 0.50 for first shift and 0.60 for second shift)

Production, Quality & Sanitation
Coordinate and ensure production equipment is ready for production runs and batchesPrepare and weigh dry and liquid ingredients by reading and following recipes in English using SAPPerform responsibilities into the SAP systemCoordinate end of production run responsibilitiesPerform daily safety and quality checks and audits in English of equipment and personnelReact to equipment conditions that force a cleaning situationAssist other crew members in staging for upcoming runs/batches and the oncoming crewsClean and sanitize production equipment and areas promptlyMake necessary preparations for the next cleaning/maintenance phaseMonitor/control equipment, ensuring all quality attributes are met; inspect for deviations while reacting to same; and maintain accurate documentationMaintenance
Checks parts out of and returns to stockroom using SAP to ensure stockroom inventory accountabilityPerform maintenance on equipment and enter information into SAP in EnglishCoordinate and partner with other employees to solve mechanical issuesPerform daily safety check of the assigned Forklift observing company policyAdministrative
Use methodologies to identify and prevent potential problems and implement improvementsPrepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and other technical documentation in EnglishSupport integration of new methods or technology being installedMaintain other employees on quality standards, maintenance issues, safety improvements and area improvementsPerform other tasks as assignedSkills Required:
At a minimum, two-three (2-3) years documented work experience in a manufacturing environment. A high school diploma or equivalent.Plan, organize, and schedule work independentlyKnowledge of GMP's, safety standards and food allergens and demonstrated ability to react and communicate any issues.Basic knowledge of mechanical processesOperate and perform tasks on a personal computer, programs and data entryCommunication and develop relationship with internal and external team members and to train othersRead and use instrumentation (temperature, pressure)Use tools including, hand, and poweredBe LOTO certified and forklift certifiedWork with pork, chicken, beef and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergensWork the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for positionPhysical Demands:
You will work in a manufacturing environment. Job you will work in areas that are hot or cold, surfaces may be slippery, climb ladders/stairs, or work in tight quartersSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and focusThe work environment is a production facility with moderate noise levelsAbility to hear and respond to audible alarms and signalsExperience: Minimum 6 months production experience required. Minimum 6 months forklift experience preferred.
