Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator who is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and assisting in the overall workflow of operations.

Your Responsibilities:

Operate and control machinery and equipment, in a safe and efficient mannerConduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs to the supervisorAdhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and othersAssist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques to minimize damage and lossMaintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents that occur during operationsWork closely with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure the timely completion of projectsAssist in training new operators and team members on equipment operation and safety practicesMaintain accurate data entry for time keeping, job costing, and MRP job trackingBasic setting up of equipment for new production jobsMaterials management – request materials required to maintain productivity

Requirements within this position:

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operators machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull, and/or carry)

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00 – 21.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
